The Omnideck is a virtual reality platform designed to facilitate movement within a virtual environment. It measures 5 meters in diameter and its active surface is segmented into 16 sections, collectively forming a hexadecagon. The active surface utilizes robust aluminum rollers. Each of the 16 sections is independently controlled by an individual motor; this system enables synchronized movement and responsive feedback. The platform integrates with the positional tracking technology of VR headsets. Proprietary Omnitrack software processes this data to translate a user's real-world movements onto the platform and seamlessly into the virtual environment.
